Home United FC VS Gombak United FC

Home United FC are on a hot streak and looks set for a strong run towards the S-League title. 15 points from the last 5 matches has seen our Protectors blaze up the league table. Even more impressive was zero goals was conceded during those wins. In early season, our Protectors were shipping goals in abundance but that has now been transformed as our Protectors has been miserly in that department.

New signings Chun Jae Woon and Jun Wookeun has been signed during the transfer window and they have shown their quality during the past few matches. Their presence has ignited Sharil Ishak into excellent performances, most notably in the win over Geylang United FC, where he notched a hat-trick. Choi Chul Woo has also been a revelation this season. Having to play in both the centre-back and forward positions, the Korean has gone about both roles without much fuss and consistently puts in good performances.

Gombak United FC are a team that focus on their defensive strength and judging from their results, opponents often have trouble scoring goals against them. Obadin Aikhena and Bah Mamadou has been resolute as a pair so far this season and they will return to face our Protectors, after being sidelined recently with injuries. On the attacking front, Eddoh Pascal will look to continue his scoring form. The teenage Nigerian scored a brace in Gombak's biggest win of the season in their previous match, a 5-0 thumping of Woodlands Wellington FC.

Which defence will prevail tonight ? Come on down to Clementi Stadium tonight to catch it live! Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
