Home United FC VS Sengkang Punggol FC

Both teams with contrasting form meets on Monday at the Clementi Stadium. Home United FC, with eleven wins in twelve matches entertains a struggling Sengkang Punggol FC side. Both has differing agendas as Home United FC guns for the title, while Sengkang Punggol looks to finish in a respectable position.

Our Protectors are red hot at this moment. The fluidity of our attacks, led by Captain Sharil Ishak is difficult to contain. The National skipper has returned to Club duties and scored in both matches. He will look to continue his goal scoring form as he is currently the league's joint top scorer, alongside Frenchman Frederic Mendy.

Sengkang Punggol FC, coached by former Protector Aide Iskandar, needs the experienced Kenji Arai to lead his defence to stem the attacking panache of our Protectors. In recent times, Arai's inclusion has strengthen the Dolphins previous porrous defence.

Both teams last met in June at the Hougang Stadium when Sengkang Punggol narrowly lost 1-0 to a 90th minute penalty by Chun Jae Woon. This time round, we can expect the same, with Sengkang Punggol defending in numbers and playing on the counter. Home United can ill afford to drop points and our Protectors will come out to attack.

Come on down to Clementi Stadium this Monday to catch this match live. Kick-off is at 1945hrs!
