Home United FC VS Balestier Khalsa FC

Home United FC has the chance to cut the difference from the top to two points when they entertain Balestier Khalsa at the Clementi Stadium this Wednesday. After an indifferent start to the season, our Protectors seems to have settled down with solid performances in the last few matches.

Top marksman Choi Chul Woo has been in scoring form and he will continue to be the focal point of Home United's attacks. Defensively, the partnership of Valery Heik and Shariff Abdul Samat will definitely improve as the season goes on. Shipping in goals in early season, Home United have kept two cleansheets in the last two matches. Against Balestier Khalsa this Wednesday, they will need to keep out Brazilain forwards Rivaldo Coasta and Victor Borges if they are to keep a successive cleansheet. Defensive midfielder Isa Halim will miss this match due to his red card against Tampines Rovers FC.

Balestier Khalsa FC's form of late has not been good. They have lost their last two games to Etoile FC and Woodlands Wellington FC. On both occasions, they lost by the odd goal after setting up to defend. We can expect Balestier Khalsa to adopt the same game plan of counter-attacking when they take on our Protectors. An early goal in this match will open up the match, if not we can expect a "attack vs defence" type of match.

Come see our Protectors blaze the Tigers from Balestier Khalsa FC! Come catch this exciting match at the Clementi Stadium. Kick-off is at 1945hrs.
