Home United FC's title aspirations took a further dent as they suffered a shock 1-2 loss to the Young Lions in our last match. A week on, our Protectors returns to the same artificial turf of Jalan Besar Stadium to take on Chinese side Beijing Guoan Talents FC.

Jalan Besar Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for our Protectors as we have suffered three defeats on the artificial surface to Beijing Guoan, Gombak United and Young Lions respectively. This return match against Beijing Guoan will be our sixth match at the Jalan Besar Stadium. We have so far manage only two wins (2-1 vs Sengkang Punggol, 1-0 vs Albirex Niigata) from our previous six matches.
