Home United FC quest for silverware this season lies firmly in the RHB Singapore Cup. The match-ups drawn up has favoured our Protectors as all the foreign teams are drawn to play in the other side.

For this match, our Protectors will miss several players with differing reasons. Key defender Valery Heik will be missing as he serves suspension carried over from last year's edition. Ismail Yunos, who recently made his comeback from a serious knee injury is out with a hamstring strain. Midfielders Nelson San Martin and Tengku Mushadad are also unavailable due to ankle injuries.

Two weeks ago, our Protectors took on the Young Lions at the same venue and suffered a shock 1-2 loss. This time round, our Protectors will do well not to underestimate the youngsters.
