Home United FC recently concluded its S-League 2009 season with a victory over Super Reds FC and achieved fourth position with a total of 53 points. Our Protectors had the same points as Gombak United FC but a inferior goal difference meant we had to settle for fourth. HUFC was badly hit by the FIFA's suspension of Brunei FA, which in turn affected Brunei DPMM FC's continued participation in the S-League.

Having defeated DPMM FC twice with scoreline of 2-0 and 6-1, it was a bitter blow for the Club as the six points gained and the positive goal difference were expunged, placing the Club finally in fourth position.

With the conclusion of the 2009 season, the planning for 2010 season has already begun.

Head Coach PN Sivaji's contract which is due to expire on 31st December 2009 will not be renewed. Home United FC has short-listed a number of coaches and will reach a decision shortly.

In terms of playing personnel, a total of six Protectors will leave Home United FC. Defensive midfielder Syed Fadhil and attacking players Fadzuhasny Juraimi, Itimi Dickson, Ham Hyeong Kyu, Kengne Ludovick and Prime League player Naruphol Ar-Romsawa has been released on expiry of their contracts.

Home United FC will like to thank Mr PN Sivaji and the six players for their contributions and wishes them success in their future endeavours.
