Home United FC played its final match at the Clementi Stadium tonight as Captain S. Subramani announced his retirement from professional football.

Having joined HUFC in 1999, he has served the Club for eleven long years. Back in 1999, Subramani was signed by Robert Alberts to form a formidable trio in our Protectors defence alongside Aide Iskandar and R.Sasikumar. In his debut season for Home United FC, he played an integral role as Home United FC blazed to our first S-League title. Ever since then, Subramani has been a constant fixture in our Protectors line-up. Many players have arrived and left the Club, but Subramani has stayed loyal to Home United FC.

Home United FC recognizes his contributions and loyalty to the Club and during half-time, a presentation was held to give S.Subramani a rousing retirement.

Home United FC Chairman Koh Siong Ling was invited to present S.Subramani with a $5000 cheque.
