At Suwon Samsung Bluewings, Lee Lim Saeng held the First Team coaching role under the charge of legendary Cha Bum-Kum from 2006-2009. He led them to the K-League title in 2008 and the FA Cup in 2009.

Lee Lim Saeng was a former player in the K-League and played most of his football for Bucheon SK, where he spent seven seasons there. In 1998, he was a member of the South Korean World Cup squad that participated in France 98 World Cup. Four years on, Lee was part of the provisional squad for the Japan/S.Korea World Cup 2002, but an injury during pre-season training ruled him out.

After turning out for Busan I'Cons in 2003, Lee retired as a player and joined Suwon Samsung Bluewings as a trainer. In 2005, Lee had an attachment at English Premiership Giants Chelsea FC, where he learnt from the best in the business, Mr Jose Mourinho. In 2006, Lee Lim Saeng got his big break when he was offered the role of First Team coach.

Commenting on Lee Lim Saeng's appointment, HUFC General Manager, Mr Mahalingam said " At the end of 2009, HUFC decided not to extend the contract of PN Sivaji and decided to look for a replacement. There were several applications. After sieving through the numerous applications, HUFC decided on Lee Lim Saeng for the post of S-League Head Coach. This is because his credentials spoke of him well as a player and a coach. He also underwent a stint of coaching under Mr Jose Mourinho at Chelsea FC. The Club has the confidence in him to deliver the goals set out and bring about the success that has been missing for the past few seasons"

With the appointment of Lee Lim Saeng, Home United FC completes the final piece of the jig-saw puzzle. Armed with several National players, quality foreigners and now a coach with strong credentials, success should be just around the corner.

Home United FC wishes Lee Lim Saeng a successful time in Singapore.
