Protectors In Bangkok, Thailand
18th January 2010
Home United FC are in Bangkok, Thailand for their pre-season training tour. With the S-League 2010 due to start in February, our Protectors will use this trip to sharpen their play and build "esprit de corp".
Here in Bangkok, Home United FC will play three quality teams in TTM Samut Sakhon FC, Muang Thong United FC and Bangkok Glass FC. Their first game will be on Monday afternoon against TTM Samut Sakhon, who was last year's RHB Singapore Cup semi-finalist. The second match will prove tougher as Muang Thong United FC are the defending Thai Premier League Champions. To wrap up the warm-up matches, former Protector J Surachai's Bangkok Glass FC will give our Protectors a good game.
Home United FC has brought a big squad up here including several Prime League players. 4 of our National players are not around as they have been called up for Singapore's participation in the" King's Cup". They are Shi Jiayi, Sharil Ishak, Tengku Mushadad and Sharil Alias.
* The results of the three matches played are : 0-4 TTM, 0-1 Muangthong United, 0-1 Bangkok Glass
