FIFA Stands Firm - Brunei DPMM FC Results Expunged !

FIFA has stand firm on its decision to ban the Brunei Football Association and its affiliates from all international and club competitions for continued government interference in the association. The ban took effect on September 30 and after three weeks, where FAS has twice appealed to FIFA to allow Brunei DPMM FC to finish their remaining five S-League fixtures, FIFA has offered no repreive.
With this, according to S-League rules, Brunei DPMM FC's results will now be expunged. Our Protectors will be hardest hit, as we will lose six points and a positive seven goal difference. Home United FC had defeated Brunei DPMM FC twice this season, 2-0 at the Clementi Stadium and 6-1 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
Home United FC's chances of finishing second has diminshed with this decision. We currently sit third on 50 points with one final match to go. Our Protectors will now play their final S-League fixture at the Yishun Stadium on 28th October in a must win match against Super Reds FC.
